My 2-ton floor jack died after 21 years and I need to replace it. It cost $99 at the time (Sears). I don't need anything fancy, just something easy to use for DIY brakes, lubes, oil changes, shocks, etc. on my Tacoma.

Probably can't spend more than $150, less if the stock market continues to crash...

Any suggestions for a decent jack at a reasonable price?

I love my long-reach 2.5 ton jack from Harbor Freight. ~36" lift capacity is nice. Hasn't had any problems in a few years of use.

I love my quick lift 2-1/2 ton from Sears. I wouldn't bother with anything other than a quick lift these days.

That's what I started to do, but I couldn't find any hardware that attached the power unit to the frame. Looks like the unit is actually welded to the frame. I'm sure it is the anti-backflow valve that is boogered, 'cause the arm lifts nicely. Just won't stay up. It falls just as fast under load as it does under no load.
