Started the LC a month ago and got flashing 4lo and CDL indicators. Engaged 4lo, played with CDL and other switches to no avail. Turned the car off and back on and the lights were gone. Couple of days ago it happened again. This time I had to turn off/on twice to get lights to go away. Thoughts? Could this be battery related? Current battery says 11/20 on it, so 5 years old. TIA

What year and miles? Any starting problems? Any other electrical issues? Do you have a multimeter to look at battery voltage? Are the battery terminals clean and tight?

2017, 90k miles. No starting problems or other electrical issues. Terminals are clean. Unfortunately no multimeter

So not the original battery. Since it’s 5 years old and there are no other things going on, maybe go ahead with a new battery. Probably a good place to start and no major loss if it doesn’t solve the problem. Maybe a 27F TrueStart or 27F Interstate, depending on which is easiest for you to get.

The first diagnostic step should be to get a code reader and pull the codes or go somewhere and have that done. The flashing Lo and CDL can be triggered by a lot of things.

Understood. I was at Costco and picked up a battery. If the lights return I will plug in the code reader.
