It is a capacitor. Hopefully you know what that is .

This appears to be a ES-12TNLB series 12VDC rated electrolytic capacitor made by Marcon in the 6th week of 1990. The part number 949522 does not cross to any current equivalent and there are no other specifications that I have found. Searching the interweb comes up with various images from Coolerman, possibly a pm to him would resolve this mystery. Please let us know what you find.

I have a couple of those flashers for sale in the classifieds. Listing includes a video proving they work.

Yes, I realize this is an old thread!
I have measured several of these recently with a capacitance meter and just for the record that caps value runs from about 2600 uF to 3000 uF. Due to degradation over 25 years, I would assume that the original value was closer to 3000uF, possibly even 3300 uF.

If looking for one you want an Axial capacitor (leads coming out the ends of the capacitor), with the following values: 2600 uF to 3300 uF, 12 to 25VDC
Caps of that value are easy to find. Here is just one source.
