Look at getting an internal + external cerakote on some stock manifolds. The headers that are available are hit and miss and at least double the cost of this approach

Did you see any gain in performance from it? Better temperatures under the hood? I just want to get my engine running as smooth as possible. I'm probably gonna take the head off to get ported and polished at some point
I didn't measure it at all. I had the manifolds coated while it was down for a head gasket job. The external coating keeps the manifold from dissipating heat into the engine bay, and the internal coating keeps it from absorbing so much heat. the idea is that instead of the manifold getting hot and soaking the engine bay with extra heat that this allows the heat to be passed through the exhaust system more efficiently.
