So is it a transmission adapter or SBC TO my factory 4 speed I am confused

Totally confused, the AA #50-5703 is used to adapt a TH350 automatic transmission to a Toyota 4WD Pickup/4 Runner 23 spline transfer-case, has nothing to do with 1974-80, nothing to do with 4 speed trans, nor bellhousing/clutch fork/throw out bearing ?????
