Wanted FJZ80 Diesel or 4Runner

I am a Cruiser Virgin, but I have been reading a lot over the past day about FJ's and 4runners and certainly find this network of enthusiasts pretty sweet and one worth pursuing. I am currently a college student looking for either a FJZ80 Diesel or 4Runner. My budget is about $8000, this car can be a project vehicle or even a stock car, I am looking to get into the hobby anyway. I am game for driving anywhere in the US to get the car. I am currently in Island Park, ID and am driving back to the east coast with a buddy, so I can literally stop wherever. Thanks, let me know if its possible to get either of these at this price point.

It doesn't get much closer and better than that here in the states. Yes it is an early 80 series cruiser and minus all of the good stuff Cruiser guys like on this forum but for a few extra thousand bucks you can put the basics like a lift, lockers, and tires on and have a great every day driver that rocks off-road.
