Awesome time this weekend!

Drove one early Sat morning, in the quarry at Badlands. Very familiar place for me, bent my cruiser up there many times. The Trail Team put us normal folk behind the wheel of the FJ's and guided us all through the trails and obstacles with NO body damage.

For those overthinking the electronics of these vehicles, in a negative way, go drive one! I took one up a 9' rock wall that has rejected many built streetable rigs with more tire and lockers.

Can't wait to see the pics!

Just got home from the Badlands....I echo Mike's and Larry's comments...this is one capable rig. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise until you go and wheel it yourself.

These trail teams will be on the road for the next 8.5 months wheeling every weekend and letting regular folk wheel it. You can catch them at cruiser events or other 4x4 events too....great people, well trained, and very nice.

Mike wheeled the crap out of it and the rig did just fine.

Here's a couple of Mike wheeling the spot above he just mentioned...

Mike, it is really tried and true. The FJTT wanted to thank you guys personally for coming out this weekend and for letting us be a part of your ride. I think most people are pleseantly surprised with how well the FJ Cruiser wheels. It really amazes me when I put it this weekend in places we wheeled in some of the competitions in the Quarry at Badlands.

Where do i apply to be on the FJTT...man what a job

I'm not sure but I don't think this is you high centered this is one of it high centered, it got out under it's own power though. I'm pretty sure this is Carl's wife, going the oppisite direction on the creek trail.

Just curious, was there anything non-stock on those rigs other than the ARB bumber/winch and highlift on the roof?

Yeah, I think the tires were BFG's and not the stock street tires. Can't remember the size of them.

I can tell you my SOA pig with a 350 and double transfer cases on 37s did NOT make it up that wall at all.

Embarrassing video

The pig did not have lockers or an anti-wrap and I wouldn't beat on it, but...

I believe that rock pile is the one that ripped the steering box off the frame on the pig as well.

Luke, my brother is still editing the pics from the event, since last night. I'm sure we have some shots of the high center. (and some spots of you being pulled off by someone:grinpimp: )

All in all, I think he took 500 pics.

The only other thing that isn't stock is the full skid plates for the undercarriage that were made by TLC

Those tires are a facory option I do believe.

The TRD Wheels and 32" tires are an option from the factory.
