It sounds like the Trail Team will be making it to Flat Nasty for the TAC event. Great opportunity to wheel some of Mr T's rigs. Hope they bring the Tacoma that they added this year.

Holy crap - that's great news!

So who has the cabin and who is getting a room in town (and who is hard-core camping)?

I called about the cabin and it was booked. There's a few other rental cabins near the park but I don't have any contact info. The past couple of years I stayed in Salem but was thinking it would be fun to get something closer. wfd's idea of renting a RV sounds good as well.

BTW...I heard a wild rumor about a 3B and a border crossing. Get it back to STL???

I believe the FN cabin is booked by TOWminator.

I'm working out some issues with Sunday. My mother in law leaves on Sunday the 5th. (after being here for 6mo helping with the newborn)

I'm simply waiting for a good time to break the news that I'll be out of town on Friday and Saturday. Why did TAC have to move the date? :censor:

They wanted to put a little more time between the TALL CORN Cruiser Classic and Flat Nasty. They have several members who do both. TCCC moved to this coming weekend and FN was pushed back. Camping should be great for this weeked. I would recomend that over a hotel.

The mobile home rental place 2miles from the park is actually pretty nice. If I didn't already have the cabin I would stay there before saying in Salem. It is cleaner that you would think, is well shaded and has a large pavilion for barbecueing and such. When I was there last May all the guys from Arkansas stayed there and we had a huge fish fry one night.

Tent camping for the wife and I.
Glad to see the trail team will be there.

I'll be camping for sure... I camped last year and the weather was perfect.

I should be arriving Wedneday early evening.
