Doing front wheel berings on my 91' FJ80. the outer end of th spindle is out of round by .002 and has a ridge on the under side where the outer bering rides. How far out can these spindles go befor needing replacment? any good sorce for good used / new ones at a resonable price?

You should probably try the 80 series forum for this question.
I'd suggest that spindles are still usable even when out of tolerance. It's not like a bearing rides directly on them but rather only the race does. They likely got messed up from having a loose bearing for a long time. Don't let that happen any more and you'll be golden.
