I developed a big fuel leak tonight on my FJ62. It's coming from where the fuel pipe enters the injection rail at the rear, and there's this little doohickey there with a plastic "hat" on top. Is this the pulsation damper (the FSM pictures are poorly described)? Do they tend to fail catastrophically? (there's a LOT of fuel spraying out from under the little "hat" when I turn the fuel pump on). Is this a sign that something else is bad with my fuel injection system? I recently replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter, but I didn't mess with anything near the injectors at that time.
thanks for any help!
