I've installed a new second-party master window control panel, and now I can't get my front passenger window to operate. I checked the motor in the pasenger door and it has a power line going to it, as far as I could tell. Trying to operate the window from either the master panel on the driver's door or from the switch on the passenger door has the same result: no operation of the passenger window. To make matters more interesting, when I use the master window switch for the passenger window (on the driver's door) it operates the driver's window. Would a defect in the master widow control switch cause the switch on the passenger side to be unusable? My gut instinct is yes, but I need to find and study a wiring schematic...

Yep-my switch doctor switch was wired wrong too. I think the red wires were reversed. You just need to figure it out from the wiring picture in the manual, and put the terminals in the correct spots in the connector. Bonus was, I now have auto up as well as auto down! The switch has been good otherwise.

Well, I looked at the photo and read the instructions, thus getting my man card suspended for four hours, but I now have a working front passenger window! The only trick was figuring out how to move the "snap thingy" that secured the connecting spade within the connector. Once I figured that it had to be deflected from within the female connector of the master switch, it took maybe 15-20 seconds to get the spade switched. Overall, it was an extremely easy job, thanks to your instructions, photo and advice!

Now for the first time in nearly four years, I have all windows operating. Thank you so much! Now, does anyone have a idea about a plastic paint to turn the switch housing from brown to gray?

I can't give you a specific paint code for the gray, but SEM plastic paints are the ones to look at. Myself and others have been happy with them. FYI Cordova Brown is the color for 60 series brown but I understand you're looking to go the other way.
