FJ62 SOLD in Manhattan, KS $4,405
Winning Bid $4,405.00
I placed the first of our 2 1988 FJ62s on ebay today. Bidding opens at $500, the Reserve is set at $4K. Although it is now in KS, it spent most of its life in CO.
Little Apple Toyota/Honda was hit by a tornado on 11 June. Lots of cars with damage; sales bldg's windows blown out. Not sure about service bldg. TruValue Hardware, 2 doors N, flattened rubble.
eBay Motors: Toyota : Land Cruiser (item 330243201821 end time Jun-16-08 17:18:49 PDT)
I placed enough trust in the PO to buy it off ebay in Sept/05 from Jim Saville, who had a sweet FJ40 sitting in his garage in Pueblo W at the time. I see from Googling that he & Nicci are now into Rovers.
The auction description is fairly detailed, but go ahead & flame me where I made blatant errors & exaggerations. :whoops: I was tempted to say that FOURWHEELER's review suggested the FJ62 was the type of 4X4 that Pres. Reagan would drive on his ranch.
I will post some pics here as a tickler. I'll try to answer Qs daily, but bear with me. I haven't responded to What's the least you would take? or Would you except (sic) $200? both from the same newby.
Owners are non-smokers.
