FJ62 front recovery points

I have none...seriously.

When the shackle reversal and ARB front bumper went on, the factory hook came off and didn't make it's way back onto the truck.

I was thinking about getting another hook, but had also read that the 80 series loop style matched the bolt pattern on the 62. Thoughts on whether or not that will work? Should I just suck it up and have a shop weld some to the bumper?

@dbenke: what did you do after installing your shackle reversal?

i put the stock one back on with the factory bumper for now. I was hoping to get the new bumper/winch mounted beforev GSMTR, but ran out of time. come by and let me look and we can come up with a solution.

Seems to me the best option will be a bracket, mounted to the frame where the shackles and the bumper bolt in. How expensive is it to get a 1/2" piece of steel cut and drilled out?

@dbenke if your offer to come by still stands, let me know what your schedule looks like next week (after your scout trip) as I'd like to come by and get your opinion.
