I have a voltage leak somewhere in the circuit that goes from the battery to the ignition switch (white wire). Anyone know if there's a common spot in this circuit for a short to occur? Don't want to start pulling the harness apart if I can avoid it.

TIA

You could try splicing in a bypass wire at each end, and see if that solves the problem, before harnesss surgery...

I have the same problem on my '47 CJ2A, but the wiring is a mess. Every PO for the last 50 years has screwed with it. Time to bite the bullet and rewire the thing.

might be in the ign switch itself.
