Just wanted to post some pics of the FJ60 power steering conversion. I posted a few months ago about the fiasco buying the box from a mud member in CA - it all turned out ok but it was frustrating thinking I got ripped off. Got the box cleaned up, I may pull it apart but I want to run it first and see if it's tight and has any bad seals rather than just throw time and money at it. It was in good shape and came with the pitman arm.
Also decided to use F250 shock towers - they're cheap and you can do what you want with them as opposed to cast iron. I didn't want to cut up the inner fenders so I sectioned them to reduce the overall length by 2" - they fit fine now.
I decided to center the radiator support since the new engine sits perfectly centered anyway, gives me the clearance needed for the ps box.
