I have two question, Frist is there a better manual for my FJ60 then the Haynes manual you can get at Autozone? Second i don't have the $$ for a gel cell battery, what is a good second tier battery?

The toilet paper in my bathroom is better than Haynes.

The Factory Service Manual is best, followed by the Gregory's Manual (Australian) ...

You can download the FSM HERE (click me)

You'll need the chassis and body manual and the 2F engine manual.

As for cheap battery - go to costco/Walmart (are you in the USA ?).

Oh, and welcome to MUD :flipoff2: (official greeting)

If you have a US-spec vehicle that still have the smog equipment, you should also have the 2F emissions manual. This post has a PDF you can download: IH8MUD.com - View Single Post - Rough Idle / Dies at Stops / Carb Issues

All these manuals are available from toyota. search MUD for "toyota materials distribution" and you will find a phone number to call to order manuals.

Does anyone have the Starting System Circuit (pages 7-2 and 7-3) from that manual? They seem to be missing from the file in the link from post #2.
