-Need a rear lift gate handle assembley or whole hatch assembley for the truck.
-Front seats, either the 60/40 split or buckets???
-rear short jump seats (wanted to install factory role bar)
*please PM, thanks!
i have the 'tri-split' bench that came in my 3/72.
it's still in my 40 (my DD) but i could take it out if you need it, just give me a couple days
they would need to be recovered, but the hardware/springs are in pretty good shape and they ride well.
I am looking HARD for a project 40. I am in Dallas, Texas. I would not be opposed to 40s within a 100 mile radius provided I could drive it back to Dallas. I would, of course, prefer a stock engine and drive train. I am also not opposed to older than 76 as long as it will take an occasional highway trip. It does not have to be pretty. Cosmetics are not a factor unless its complete rust-through. Lastly, if a rust free grandma driven under 100k 40 drives up in my driveway for less than 7000 consider it sold and Ill call you a cab.
I will consider a lifeless hulk only if the price is really right.
Edelmann brand, part #71210. its for a 82-87 fj60, high presure hose, there is no aftermarket for a 79-83 fj40. Parts house should be able to cross it to whatever brand they can get.
32.5" 16mm male inverted flare fittinig on both ends.
this is what I used on my OEM 82 fj40 PS conversion(used all OEM parts) it fits fine but is a little bit different then the fj40 hose. BTW the fj40 and fj60 PS pumps are the same.
picked it up at the local parts store for $35
Napa has a similar one.
I think the Toyota hose is discontinued, even if it wasnt you don't want to know the price.......its spendy
for the return line just use generic hose, its the same diameter as a fj60 hose, sorry I forget what the size is
I do have an OEM hose but its attached to the OEM 80 fj40 PS set up I have laying around
yep, just buy a new one, most used ones(including the ones on my rigs) are frizen up, like Tucker said they are not much ##, I think $20? got a new one laying around someplace
i know a guy here in Omaha who has a pair of 78'S for sale..... one is totaly stock..... and i only found 3 spots of rust on the whole thing...... the other has a 2f with 5,000 miles on it... but is basicly a rust bucket of a tub.... top and front are good but the tub and rear sill are mostly bubbles
I need an engine for my 73 FJ55 anything that will bolt in stock. Preferably in the southeastern US I dont want to drive cross country to pick it up. Needs to be functional and complete or mostly so, I do have parts a fair amount of parts for an F engine which would I could use if needed. Anybody that has one for sale or knows where I can find one let me know. Thanks Richard
Pimps right, OEM is expensive. I just bought hoses for my 60 series a couple days ago. Napa, paid about 35 for the pressure hose and $15 for the return (generic) line.
