FJ60 / FJ62 OEM-style, nylon loop, grey or brown,"correct" carpet sets and mats

As many of you know, I have been offering OEM-style, "correct" replacement carpet and mats for FJ60s and FJ62s for the last 6 months. For those of you who haven't seen those threads in the 60-series forum, that's why I'm posing the information here.

Kurt, to be honest, I don't know if there are any differences in the floor design of the LHD vs RHD models or not. Conceivably, the only difference may be the relocation of the heel pad (I presume no toe pad would be needed against the RHD kick panel), but that's just a guess. Since the mfr. only makes carpet for LHD models, the only way I know of to find out would be to order a set - sans any floor wear pads - and give it a try. Only downside would be, if it didn't work, there would be (a) the shipping cost to the mfr., and (b) whatever their restocking fee would be (or a sale to another person in need would only cost shipping). I'll be happy to see if they'd soften the costs as much as possible if this is something you (or anyone else) would like to investigate. I've got to believe the population of RHD 6xs in the states is small, but sales are sales, so it may be worth their time to help with the investigation.

if they do carpet this well at this price point I'd kill for them to do OEM style seats covers...or even just fabric. Doubt that's in their wheelhouse though.

Yeah, I agree! Unfortunately, carpet is all they do......however, maybe that’s why their carpet is so good!
