if ...........

your NOT getting all the professional restoration step by step features below , your making a poor choice ,

because ....

THIS IS THE WAY

- i collect good ones and fully restore them using my machine shop and things i do also

- re-deck both mating surfaces via machine shop lathe

- verify all threads are normal

- hot tank them

- coat them inside and out with a marine grade corrosion proof YAMAHA outboard product

- a few
top secert skunk trade craft things you would consider amazing too :)

- here is what i have for u

- also i have all the OEM updated mounting hardware , gaskets o rings oem toyota as a option too

and oem t stats too option ....

thanks ...

I'm looking. I have all new parts, but just messed up the lower housing face.

Darrell, Richmond, VA

- your bagged and tagged for Monday EXPRESS USPS EMS .....

- thanks for your support :)

- i have decided that since your now a PLC ( Platinum Level Client ) ,

- you deserve to be enlightened regarding modern 2023 japan spec. parts that
TOYOTA is too busy to remember the humble beginning's and gilded age era past for reasons that defy logic ?

- the four 12mm HEX bolts are hot dipped eco galvanized , #4 mark heads siggle SEMS washers

- the 2 block face 14mm hex bolts are #5 mark heads , all same specs as above too

- as you experienced the top 4 bolts will fail sad sooner rather then later

- the 2 block face bolts , same too , and also due to a lame single small washer , stress the housing ears and will SNAP them off of not removed in a even way ...

- among snapping in the block too

- this is bull sh#T ..

- so .....

- a few years a embarked on a littler crusade of mine to make all the above far less a issue in the future , applying a little common sense and a whole

lot of T-TEN factory focus points mind set approach philosophy too ...

- you are going to be installing , and also receiving too i guess right ..

- the current state of the art JIS fasteners i could find in JAPAN ...

- #7 mark Head 12mm hex bolts double SEMS washers

- #8 mark heads DOUBLE SEMS washers wide fender types to better spread the torque yield clamping source

- all are VIOLET BLUE Silver Zinc plated , this has the highest salt spray rating test of any plating i could source for these type bolts ,,,

- you WILL also be applying BLUE Loctite all all 6 bolts , this will create a water proof anti sieze and anti vibration bond ANTI SIEZE space age way ..

- now your set up for success ,

- i personally apply OEM Black FIPG 00295-00102 to all gaskets both sides ,,,,,,,,,thats what it is made for bottom line ..

- i expect request you report back photos of during install and post install ......

- this will help others learn this is the PLC approach way .,..

- i use all above 411 and it NEVER fails me ....

- i designed and engineered this update because i like to out-fox mr. t and make SNOW VERSION grade improvments , and this is indeed one

Het Matt, thanks! I got the housing and bolts. I installed them today and followed the procedure above, except I used a very thin layer of Permatex thermostat gasket maker to both sides of each gasket. Torqued to spec @ 18 in-lbs and 12 in-lbs for block and housing bolts. I also used Permatex thread sealer on both BVSVs on the lower housing. New hoses and OEM hose clamps. No leaks. I'll take pics tomorrow and post. Thanks for the quick response and the bolts. I now have an extra set of the OEM bolts. I do like yours better, although I want to replace the housing bolts with studs and nuts at some point. Probably never will, but I like the idea.
