FJ60 at work

We get lots of pics of Cruisers at play, so I thought I'd post one of a Cruiser at work with a story. As I was at Lowes yesterday loading all this lumber into my truck, there was a guy with a Heep Cherokee who had about half as much wood as I did. He, of course, couldn't get it into his rig and had to use a uhaul trailer. He watched in amazement as I loaded about a 1/2 ton of lumber into the back of my cruiser.

Yeah, my 60 always surprises me with how much she can carry. I love going on hunting trips and having room for all my gear, 2 big coolers, a gun case, tents, and an extra passenger or two. Good stuff...

And THAT my friend, is why I'm selling the 2500, and getting a 60. I mean cmon, That's a perfect example of why it's a waste for me to have a big rig (GMC 2500 full size truck) when I don't need it. I can't wait to find that 60 that's out there looking for me.

Craigslist is the place to find Cruisers in the Portland area. That's where I found my 60.

Nice, I moved from Prince George to Surrey in BC (800km) for the summer (I go to school in PG), and managed to fit everything I owned minus a small end table into the truck. Oh My was she fully loaded. Even the passenger seat was filled to the roof. I wish I got some pics or at least took it over the scales. Ah Well.
