Interested but not ready at this time,
What would be the one off cost at a later date?
Thank you,
Nick.

I thought the Isuzus used a GM small block bolt pattern? Or am I thinking of another tractor engine? Sucks getting old...

I am excited for mine!

The Isuzus do not have a bellhousing pattern cast into the block, just bolts and dowel pins in the rear face of the block. From Isuzu the engines came with Isuzu specific and SAE bellhousing adapters.

A little proud of these, had to share! We made one extra.

Those look great. If I remember correctly, anything the H55 can bolt to will work with a later model H42 with the spacer. So, if someone wanted to do their diesel swap in stages, they could just swap in the H55 later on, after they got sick of the 4-speed/saved up the cash.

My understanding is all the late H42 bellhousings work with an H55 while the early bellhousings need a little clearance grinding to fit an H55, but are otherwise identical.

These adapters mean no custom clutch pieces, your tach works, no driveline modification.

Man those are stunning. Great craftsmanship and looks to be well executed. Wish something like this was available when I put my IDS kit together. Maybe I will start saving my pennies and ....

Well done sir, well done.

Clint

Hello, my son and I are currently installing a 4bd2t in a 89 FJ62. We've been reading these posts on options involving using the automatic transmission in the LC. We've been told the adaptor kit to a nv4500 is the way to go and that seems reasonable but keeping the automatic would be nice for other person the family that like an automatic. After reading several posts on going this route we know it can be done but can't find much more about it.
Can someone direct us to the posts that might help? We talked toto Roadrunner Torque Co and they say rebuilding our tc and adjusting the stall speed is no problem and they have done over 30 in the past. Does anyone know where we might get the adaptors or anything else that we might need? Thanks in advance and also a big thank you to Longbow for inviting Sonny over to see his rig!

pretty sure this adapter is for a Toyota h55 5 speed manual transmission not an automatic transmission
