FJ55 MAF 38 Gallon Long Range fuel tank

I believe this is an MAF extended range fuel tank. This is a quality professionally built aluminum fuel tank with fuel sending unit, proper located vent ports, fuel out/return ports, and filler port, proper tank baffling. The tank is reasonably lite.

My cruiser is diesel so the tank has been filled with diesel.
It's an awesome tank I'm just going into another direction.

Basic Measurements 30" x 33" x 10"

I have it out to be a 38 gallon tank.

Aluminum? I thought MAF's were steel.

And it has diesel fuel all over it.

I did not take off the fuel hose... instead I cut it as you can see.

The tank fits prefect and hangs just above the shackle hangers.

There is a small dent in the bottom that pushes in about an inch. Does not effect the metal or performance of the tank. The tank is professionally baffled inside.

Wassh it with kerosine and it will ship fine

I was just going to scrub the outside with orange and wash it off at the car wash. The inside should be fine as is. For those that might want to know, any diesel fuel residue left in there isn't going to effect a gas engine.
