I purchased some from another Toyota model (same decade, can't remember the model) for mine... not exact but unless you really look they're the same.. I think i have a couple extra..
I'll snap a pic and post ... if you're interested let me know... free...

I believe I used 84-89 Toyota PU/4runner slide knobs.... EBay for about $10 set of 4.

After a couple hours of searching I found these on Yotashop
Look like they may work ?
Heater Knob- Toyota OEM Heater & A/C Control Knob Early Style 55905-89110

Ill report back after I receive them on how well they fit.

They didn't fit However a more complete search with a bright work light found the lost one under the drivers seat.
