Very nice rig - I'm tempted to paint mine in that color now!! Was it originally with a red roof? What about that red chassis - did you do the complete rebuild?

I've not seen the front pto-driven water pump before. It looks like the side mirrors are different too. And those little side lights just in front of the door pillars - what are those all about?

The paint on the truck is the one Falck Firebrigade uses in Europe. The colour is RAL 3000. Very close to the original paint. And yes, the roof is also original red. I was sure it was wite, but with a closer look I discovered it was all red. Very rare maybe? I will post som pics of the interior. I have borrowed some bigger wheels from a friend of mine. So I think I have changed my mind of selling it now. It was a niceer truck....not so inocent look anymore. Any one who know about a nice sett up of wheels. I am thinking of backspace. I was thinking to use 32x11,5x15. But I dont whant to have to mutch of the wheel on the outside of the fenders.

The truck was almost like this when I got it. I got a new tailgate, shackles, front bib, the rest is like the Firetruck company had it. The fire brigade have taken good care of the truck. The smal flashlights on the side is also an item that the firebrigade did put on it. I think the same about the mirrors.

I think I will ceep it. And let some other plans go. As you says, it is in very good condition and I think I would have lots of trouble to find another one in this condition. But here in Norway at that time these trucks was buildt, we used the LandRovers. we are close to the UK. But in Denmark, Sweden, France and Germany the Landcruisers was more common. So these Landcruisers are rare in Norway, but the more modern ones like the 60, 70, 80 and newer. You see lotots of them.
Anyway, the pump was operated in the fron. It was mounted straigt to the engines crancpully with a shaft. And a handel on the side of the pump, you connected the pump in and out. And you had also a hand trottle for the rpm on the engine and a enginetemperature gauge ont the side of the pump.

I forgot to tell you that I was in Vancouver 2 month ago. I have family in Anmore and on the Lasquiti island. Where are you living in Vancouver?
