The one SOR sells is for a troopy not a pickup. Pickups are longer. In the past when my pickup was kept at our cabin outside I ran four 2X4s from the headache rack to the top of the tailgate. I then put a piece of plywood on that. Snow country so need to support between the 2X4s. Covered that with a large water proof tarp. Most fitted covers are not truly water proof. Plus on a pickup would need to figure a way to prevent sagging over the bed. Harbor Freight was selling their portable garages for under $200 on the their parking lot sale. That might be your easiest and cheapest option.
I’d like a cover that I can put on when the 45 is in the garage. So probably going to have to get a custom one and hopefully for a lot less than $600.

FYI - I just bought a generic 5 layer outdoor cover for my FJ60 (not from Cal Cover) and it works great. Even better..only $145. There are quite a few online cover companies, so I just did a quick experiment with the link below to see if I could look up a 1965 land cruiser pickup. Good news....the list included both a short and long bed pickup, AND 2 and 4 door wagon. For $145... you can't go wrong with the 5 layer. Please note, you will have to fold in the mirrors...there are no mirror pockets like the more expensive covers.
