I'm not sure if there are differences between the years, but I have a 1/71 model. I honestly don't care what it looks like so long as it's all there (or can be put together) and structurally sound. Dents, dings, scratches, etc. don't bother me I just need a good foundation to start with.

I live in central GA and don't mind driving if needed, I'm often in SC and NC as well as work schedule dictates.

I've been looking at the Metal Tech OEM replica kit, but thought I'd try here first. Thanks in advance and for helping feed to madness.

9/73 (74 model) is when the roll bar started in the US market. Smittybuilt were one of the more common roll bars being used and are period correct for a 71. If your after the 74+ OEM look Metal Tech would be a lot more stout than OEM.

Good to know, thank you for that. I guess there was one in mine at some point where it looks like the factory bars would mount. Looks like I"ll go the Metal Tech route then.
