Hey! I posted before about a fitment issue with my 1981 40 series. With the newer style tubs (especially 8/80 and later) they changed the way the rear wheel well, door jamb and sill were put together. There is now a rounded lip on the inside of the rear door jamb.

It looks like everything else will fit is I cut a small rectangle out of the speaker panels. You can see below the new lip, the interference, and the marked out cutouts on my panels. I will do the cutting later this week and will post up an update.

Please excuse the rust. I was going to install these panels when I do the rust repair on my rear tub.

Made these for my 77' FJ40 to work with 5 1/4" speakers. They come with one hole in them which will allow you to use a factory threaded hole then you can drill your own holes in the tub if you like which aren't mandatory. The one hole will hold the speaker and plate just fine.

12 ga raw steel. Powder coating available upon request.
Right and left are different. Price includes one of each.
Corners are notched to allow wires to pass through without damage.
