Hi guys, last week I have seen that my ammetter was dead (no movement), then I desconected it. Then, when I go out with the car, the battery get's discharged. I have dissasembled the alternator, and is ok, the fuses are ok too, I have charged the battery with the electrician and go out with the car, and the battery gets discharged again. I think the ammeter is ok, and there is some electrical problem.

What's wrong?

Hi All:

Soujiro, this actually the section for 70 Series Land Cruisers (like the BJ70, HZJ75, etc.) not 1970s era Land Cruisers (that would be the 40/45/55 Series section of the forum.)

That said, from what you are describing, I'd guess that you have a major short in the electrical system which is draining the battery every time you connect it.

Good luck!

Alan
