Set of two cowl vent drain hoses (LH and RH) for Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, made of Silicone!

Replace your rotted original hoses with these silicone hoses, and keep water away from the cabin during rain. Brand new. Replicates OEM part #'s 55767-60020 (LH) and 55759-60020 (RH), with the following added benefits:

  1. Long term durability - Due to the use of Silicone material, these hoses are not subject to deterioration like the OEM rubber hoses. This should be the last set you'll ever need.
  2. Tolerance to extreme temperature conditions - Whether you live near the Saudi desert or the Arctic Circle, you're good to go.
  3. Easier installation - Silicon hoses have a smooth surface that's easier to get on and off as compared to rubber hoses. If you've ever installed the OEM hoses, you'd know how tough it is to put those on.
  4. Impeccable quality - These hoses are hand crafted in the same fashion as the "tuner" hoses sold for the high end vehicles market.
  5. Great price!

Fits U.S. models through '74.

MUD Price: $59
Shipping: $5

Hi. These will work with my '76? Here they are listed to fit through '77 but on your shutterfly site they are listed as fitting '65-'74...
just double checking, thanks

Good catch. The Shutterfly site is correct; it's only good through '74. I just updated the post above.

For your '76 you should be able to use a straight hose. If you (or anyone else who sees this) has intact original hoses out of a '75 or later truck, I'd be more than happy to reproduce it based on your sample. Condition does not matter, but it must be completely intact so that it can be measured accurately.

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately I don't have intact hoses, thus my searching. I did want to say, though, I love the work you're doing to recreate the unobtainium. I've got my eyes on several of your products, just waiting for my next paycheck!

For others looking for the same, here is a solution for rigs after '74

BY any chance do you have a picture of them installyd in a car?

This is how my BJ40 looks like, the previous owner eliminate d the hoses but left one part, also in the second picture you will see that there's no hoses coming in from the hood side, based on this what you think, will your silicone hoses will work or n

In the first photo, there appears to be tape covering a hole in the transmission hump. For a '76, I would expect the drain hose to be routed down through that hole. There should be a hole on the opposite side of the trans hump as well, which I can't see clearly.

I'm surprised to see remnants of a hose coming out of the firewall in the other photo. Unless Costa Rican spec trucks are different, that could be a mod done by the PO.

On my BJ the hose were still attached but the right one was cracked next to the grommet.
To replicate them, you only need to make 2 elbows to clear the firewall.

Oh and enjoy the paintbrush job! ;)

Hey, I’ve never had a Cruiser before and just got a ‘71. when it rains, even just sitting I have water coming in seemingly trough the heater area. Would any of these cowl vent things explain that water coming down on my feet?
Correct.

Www.cityracerllc.com is his website. No idea why it’s named that. It’s Cruiser parts heaven.
