FJ40 68 rear sill dimension

I'm doing the rear sill and I notice the seam is shoorter than the aftermarquet sills!!

I get the one from Real Steel and the seam on top is larger than the one I have on my FJ40
dose anybody had the same problem??
for dose who has an 68 ..... can you send me some pics for this area

Here is a picture of my 70's rear sill area. All original including paint. I'm sure it's the same as my 68. If you need me to I can clean out a few things and snap a picture of my 68. Have a few other years I can compare it to as well.

PS: I noticed you say early 68, mine is 9/67 which shouldn't matter as I don't think the sill got wider until 75. I'll check but believe my 73 soft top has the same narrow sill. Pictures are on my other (slower) computer, this one required a factory reset and pictures have yet to be reloaded.

My 76 with ambulance doors has he wider rear sill but it's also notched so the doors fit flush.

I know I'm really fast considering neither my 70 or 76 are at the same location I am. Let me switch to my old computer should have a picture of my 73 FST's sill there.

It looks like by 73 the rear sill was wider at least on the FST model. This is a 2/73 production date.
