Here is the back of the wheel. Yeah, the wheel is 17 x 7.5, but the back spacing was not know....at least by me at this point. So after measuring I would say it is 5 inches.

Okay, it is now on the ground. Here is the deal at this point. As you can see the front is "diving" Big Time. This is because we have the OME 893 and this is a non-USA coil that is specifically designed for low height Prado's. We are now putting the Cruiser back in the air and swapping out the coils for a set of OME 895's. We have been on the line with Tim the Tech guy at ARB who knows his stuff inside-and-out about installs. Watch as we continue with the process....

The rear suspension is looking good. Here at the numbers there.
RH- 33", LH- 32 3/4". Now we have not driven it yet...obviously, but this should come down just a fraction when we hit the road.

Yeah, that is correct. Too many numbers in the head. The install man keeps me honest. He is over my sholder right now barking numbers at me. OME 884

Just for information. The stock coil was 14", the OME 893(wrong coil) was
13 15/16, and the OME 884(now installing) measures 15 1/2". That is more like it. The new OME 884 is in the machine.

The LH side is on...he is working on the right. Again, the biggest pain so far is the unbolting of the sway bar and upper ball joint.

As we wait here...We took this FJ out on two different occasions in Maine and New Hampshire to wheel it before we did the OME install. We did not kill the thing, but did get into a number of off-camber situations, mud, and inclines. Over all we thought it went well. Yes, we know about the IFS vs. sraight axle "beef."

wasn't it a shade taller on the DS prior to the lift? "suspect" Toy does that so the DS levels once the driver's dead ass is installed....
