just been released in Australia and i like it,now before i think about one what are they like?they are only petrol but thats ok i guess, what are peoples opinion, good or garbage, like the practical interior etc, selling here for $45000 on the road,i feel they will be a good seller, only just checked one out and i like,so rate it for me thanks,Baz

had mine for 2 years and love it! also have a 40, but I like the FJ Cruiser almost as much! decent gas mileage, you can remove the rear seat bottoms and slide the front seatsforward. the wife and I sleep in it with a full size air matress. great for vehicle camping! down sides: rear windows don't open, but I saw a set up that has replacements that open like the old 40 series rear vent windows, the other down is no inside handle for the back door but not really a big deal as I can get to the front door easy enough.

I have been watching the count down on toyota australia site - Drove one the other day. Firmer suspension than the states and grab handles on the back of the front seats. We have the original blue here also. I am looking very closely. It would look great beside my 40 and 25.

There are a couple of different colors from the LHD models, I personally love the sandstone with the white roof, reminds me of the original beige color from the 40 series.

I've had mine for 4 1/2 years now and still love it. Just turned over 138,000 on it and the only problems happened a couple of months ago when I lost a wheel sensor and wiring and had a loose tie rod end fixed.
