If GSMTR you can drive one with the FJ Trail Team. We will have three there and we will be using two of them on the trails. They are stock except for the ARB bumpers with winches and beefed up skids underneath.

The big toyota dealer in hickory right on Hwy 70 had a blue FJ i could see from 321. It was parked near the rear.

Drove past there about 2 days ago..they have a Voodo Blue one, and a Yellow one. Definatly pass on the yellow, it doesnt look nearly as good as the blue

If you wanna see a blue FJ Cruiser come to Uwharrie this saturday, or you may stop at bojangles and check it out real quick.

yeah I figured it has better chances that my bone stock 81 FJ40. WIth 280k miles on it, and rust everywhere.

I finally get to see in person how these things will do. Thanks for bringing it out for the rest of us to see.

no problem I am gonna be the one thanking yall after you see how terrible those H/T tires are. They need like 100 miles to clean up.

About 2 weeks ago they had 2 of the blue and one of the silver. Went there when I was car shopping, light drizzel, riding in a rental POS. The salesmen were all huddled up at the showroom and noone came out to help me until it stopped raining. Then the guy that did come over went to get the keys of the truck I was looking at and got distracted by someone in a more expensive car. Pissed me off, so I didn't buy from them and i told the sales mgr. what a sorry pack of snakes he had working there.

I've stopped by Leith Toyota and Fred Anderson in Raleigh. Leith on the first day their demo FJ arrived said all FJ's were pre-order (lika a 110 day wait per FJ), none would be sitting on the lot. A couple weeks later there were three in the lot at Leith, same at Fred Anderson. All like $27+. The basic 4x4 model/auto at Fred Anderson was $27 whatever, black steel wheels, no rack, no sliders, nada extra.

I've been told folks have backed out on pre-orders.

Who knows, maybe $2.93 a gallon for 87 here in N Raleigh has something to do with it, or whatever else.

I stopped by Hendrick Toyota here in Fayetteville last week. They had one blue one and it was priced at $30,000! They also said that most were "pre-ordered" or selling right of the truck.

The salesman was not very bright. I drove up in an FJ-80 and a car load of kids and he thought he could sell me an FJ Cruiser.

I was somewhat disappointed with all the plastic in the thing. It looks cool and appears to be built well but it is all plastic!

Hey John, He was feeding you a line man. I know most of the managers there and they are not sold right off of the truck, they are selling fast but not too fast, and they had non preordered. This was from the person in charge of sales himself, who i happen to know pretty good.
