For those of you that were not at the meeting Tuesday, we made an announcement. The FJ Cruiser trail team will be at the Southern Cruiser Crawl this year! All members need to plan on being in attendance at this years event. We will push, pull or drag your rig over there if needed. This years event will be Oct. 13-15 at Gray Rock outside B-Ham AL. Make plans now!

woohoo. I've said it before... I want to be the first second owner of an FJ Cruiser

AAAAHHHHhhhhhh,

That burning clutch smell will take me back to the late '80s and a '65 Mustang convertible with a 200cid straight 6 with a factory defect that caused clutches to last about a year-&-a-half. That was a fun car with an odd smell.

Well fj60guy, If I have my way, I will be at GSMTR, SCC and maybe even the Razorback Ramble. With help fron you and others and a lot of luck, I plan the following mods prior to GSMTR:

4"Hell Creek Lift, 35" Mud Dawgs, Cut & Fender Flares, York OBA, 8" Tuffy install with stereo, CB install in dash, Hand Throttle, TREs, MAF 4+ Brush Guard, Weld (fix) and Narrow Front Bumper, Re-route exhaust so I can pull oil pan and change gasket, Rear Diff Gasket, Rear Cooler/Jerry Can Rack Fab, and last but not least - drill out the easy-out in my block so I can get the side cover with new gasket back on!!!!

Gettin' back to work this weekend.
