Very cool!! So, where is this magazine available??
Dealers have them

pertty cool the dealer here in central ca. has no info (booklets /flyers /pamplets )nothing yet....?

i got one today. the salesdrones knew nothing about them, but the guy in parts had them near his counter. it shows the new ARB bumper for the cruiser. it is an interesting read

They are going to be publishing new issues of this throughout the year. It will document the new FJ in action at various locations and have stories by the people who drive them.

page 16 and 17 is the best of course...rising sun and horsetooth wheeling with the fj in walden (that's my wagon one up from the back :) )

I knew I should have driven up there from the Fort. Now I really regret it. Nice to see some locals in the mag. I am jealous!!!

I'm in the blue 60, behind the FJ

That was such a fun day, I'm glad to see the pictures made print somewhere. Too bad it was so cold, would have been even more fun to get out and play.

I enjoyed the day, everyones rig looks great in the picture. It was nice to meet some fellow cruiser heads and see the new Cruiser wheel, very capable and fun.

Just looked through the magazine/add. I thought this was interesting:

Warranty void if using non-toyota parts! I guess you won't see many mods for the FJcruiser until the warranties expire.

There's a law written to address that -- the dealer/mfr. has to prove that the aftermarket part/modification directly caused a failure - ie putting a bumper on doesn't void the warranty on the rest of the vehicle, only anything directly caused by the install of the bumper.

That's good to know. I was just reading the caption literally. Sounded like a blanket statement that warranty would be void if ANY mods were made.

Sorry to take the thread off track! ;)

After looking through the whole 'zine I think it looks like a capable vehicle and not too out of place in the pics with the "classics".

Very cool to see a Toyota publication finally acknowledge the TLCA.

FJC Mag

My dealer gave me a copy as I was completing sales paperwork today. It's good. Lots of info. The price was right (free).

All the great info is also a nice read. As Chris stated this booklet has some great articles, and will have more in the future. Walden was a fun day and I too was suprised that some pics made it into print already. The web site when it comes up is also going to be fun, lots of pics, web moves of the FJ's in action. This is one fun project that is happening. I can not wait to come play with people that I have banter with on MUD and put faces to names and put the FJ through the paces. Let you Guys drive it depending on conditions. This Crusier is real fun to play with.

Don't do like I did and print the whole d**n thing off. Shoulda looked at the total pages before I hit "print"...sucked up a whole ink cartridge...:whoops:

Good read though.
