how would a middy fare in a similar situation with the factory roll bars at the rear and the pressed stee hoop above the drivers and passengers head?

I saw one a while back. It got a flat tyre and left a gravel road at about 70 kph and rolled when it hit the ditch.
It pushed the roof over to one side by about 100mm but basically kept it intact. It was a right off with panel damge all round.
A gentle ,single rollover is probably its limit.

What bunch of lucky blokes. And it goes to show the wonders of owning those cruisers you got there. Un-bolt the broken bits, inspect the other bits for damage, pop on new bits. Simpler than trying to fix a unibody.
