I hate to do this but I need to sale my FJ62. I just recently bought off ebay. I also have 4runner listed. I need to sale one (strapped for cash/bills) of these. I would prefer the 4runner but at his point I am not getting picky. I got this off ebay one month ago. I lied to about a bunch of mechanical issues which now have been fixed at a cost of 4000. New brakes and calipers. New water pump. New catalytic converter and o2 sensors. PASS TX emissions now with flying colors.
It was paint last year by the aformentioned "autobody guy" which actually seem good. No rust. Warn 8000lbs winch/chrome bumper on front.
New kenwood stereo with ipod/iphone usb connections. 3 keys.

Cons:
cracked dash but have perfect dash pad sitting in my living room waiting to be installed. Has after market cruise but is not working.
I was not planning to sale this...

asking 12000 which is less than what I have put into it (purchase and repairs)
have more photos and can email. check out my garage for shots of underbody from repair shop.

the interior is very clean. Auto locks/windows/antenna

Yep. Guy screwed up the brake job and had to be redone. "well maintained" ha, ha. Emission systems totally bad. Supposedly it had passed CA emissions the previous year which I doubt. Had to change both catalytic converters and O2 sensors. get the the radiator welded due to leak and water pump just died as I rolled back into Austin from KC. I got lucky to get back. NOW 4000 in repairs and catching getting maintenance caught up. Kind of financial strapped now. Bought for 7400 + 4000 in repairs.
Have new radio (300), new/used dash pad 160....
I bought expecting nothing would need to be done. My bad was in a hurry after flying in to KC. Should have had inspection done.
Now its in great working order. Just need money now.

guys drop to 10K. Nice rig. all original except radio and front bumper. could be easily a DD. an original bumper included ( no plastic end caps). I will even throw in the brand new hexomats (black-front, passenger and cargo) that are still in the box.
looking to buy another mud's fj40 if my 62 can find a new home.
