Hey guys, so I'm a senior in high school and need to get a new car before college (can't exactly drive 7:30 hours to and from school with 12 mpg haha) so a friend recommended me here to post my FJ60. Anyway, here goes nothing!
I inherited it from my cousin who heard I needed a car to drive my senior year. It's in fair shape and has never failed to get me from A to B.
The Bad
Engine: A little bit more difficult to start in the cold than in the summer, but no matter the temperature it runs like a champ.
Body: There are a few paint chips on the hood and one or two very small dented spots. If you email me I'll be happy to send them too you. They don't look bad at all.
Other: The back passenger window won't work and the horn is sketchy. It goes at times and not at others, and the back right tailight cover is broken. I'll look into fixing these things cause they may be a cheap fix. Heat and air work great but no AC.
Mileage: I don't know the miles, unfortunately. When i got it the odometer was broken at 127,000 but idk when it broke.
The Good
Engine: It never fails to start for me and runs like a champ. I don't drive it on the highway a lot but when I do it runs great. 4x4 works well. I've only been through 1 muddy patch with it and the four wheel drive worked fine. I replaced the master break cylinder and the air pump around september so those are some fresh parts. Otherwise than that I think the engine is stock.
Body: The paint job looks pretty good. I'm not sure if it's the original or not, but I love the sand color!
Tires: I have Pro-Comp 31 All Terrains on this bad boy. They probably have 75-80% tread. Great shape. Also, there's a BF Goodrich all terrain spare which is in great shape too.
Anway, let me know what you think! I'd like to ~$4000 for this since I think that's around what it's worth and I need cashola for a Tacoma. Make me an offer though, worst I can say is no! Hope you guys like it! My email is thelukester615@gmail.com, or you can text me at 919-714-2444. I'll respond to texts much faster. Also, I live in Raleigh, NC and it's pickup only. Thanks for looking!
