FJ 60 dash cover kits?

Anybody ever use one of these dash cover kits ?

what has been you experience with these? are they worth the money?

I bought a similar cover (if not the same) from SOR 6 or 7 years ago. The fit was good and unless you looked closely around the vent holes it looked like a factory pad. It has weathered the years in New Mexico sun reasonably well with only a little curling at the windshield end and fading on top. It still looks a heck of a lot better than the dash pad it covered.

Can one of those be used to lay over a good condition, stock dash to protect it? If not, does anyone know of a nice looking carpet dash pad cover? The PO of mine had one, but it didn't fit well, so I trashed it.

Yes, at least mine fit right over. In fact on a damaged pad all portions that are raised must be ground down to stock height for the cover to fit properly.
