This somewhat rare Bestop bug-bra that I bought in the late ‘80’s boxed in my garage for 35 plus years. Never even seen if it fit or not. Could POSSIBLY also fit an FJ-40 ?

Not an easy item to photograph. Would of used on my own build but unfortunately had to widen my fenders. (NEVER USED !!) Asking $100

Not sure how that would fit?

Neither do I, I wasn’t even able to try it on account modification change on my particular “ hybrid” build (widen fenders)... sadly no instructions: just have to figure it out. All parts are there though.

Probably like all others....protects all the front facing fenders, hood & bib areas. Has a bug screen for grill area as shown. I am guessing that it’ll allow the hood to still open up.

I wouldn’t put one on they get moisture under them and cause more problems than they prevent.
You are correct. I had a friend use one and it did just that. He removed it , But, when he sold the FJ40, he detailed it and re-installed , and looked good for a buyer. So, they look good but function is sketchy.

I had one on my turbo Saab 900 and it looked cool but if you don’t take it off once a while it will affect the paint sorry I don’t mean to be a bummer.

Quite alright you may have saved someone else from having a ...”bummer.”:worms:
