I went down to Tucson from Mesa yesterday and bought a really nice roof rack. I thought it would fit my FJ40. It has 1/2 in. pipe place vertically to fit in the rain gutter, two in front and two in the back. The guy had all thread placed in the verticals and fasteners to the rain cutter, much like conventional roof rack clamps. I dont have these and they will have to be fabricated. The previous owner's father had it made somewhere in Callifornia. Now I know why it is custom made, I cant find any that are made specifically for an FJ45. I paid $300 and I am selling it for $300.
