"This truck is UNIQUE there was only 6 of these trucks ever registered in the state of MI. it has an in-line 6 cylinder with a 3 on the tree speed transmission and a lever that you pull on the dash board for the 4 wheel drive. The motor, trans are Chevy, it was converted by my father in the '70's. Our family has owned it for over 30 years. This truck was originally used in the logging industry back when there was one up in the U.P. It has, over the years been through several make overs it been almost evry color in the rainbow from and then some. My father like to re do the body every so many years to keep it fresh looking. Although he has been dead for 17 years so needless to say its sat that long and is in need of some T.L.C. This truck would be perfect for the avid car guy who likes to collect and redo cars and trucks. This truck is not able to be driven at this point because it has sat for so long that it needs seals and tires, etc. Back in 2000 Motor Trend Magazine featured and article about this exact same truck selling for $14000 in similar conditon. This truck has a lot of sentimental value but its sat for to long and needs to be cleared out. "

Should be a good lifetime project for someone.

I forget who but someone on the 45 subforum bought it sight unseen. It'll either be a gem or total loss. I dont see much in between on this one!
