Hard to tell from the small picture but that might be a pretty good buy. Someone closer than me should go have a look.

Thanks TJDIV!

:)Looks to be a somewhat solid survivor. Its been stored in a barn/garage for over the last 17 years. And before that, the PO apparently absolutely loved the cruiser before he died.

:DI bought the truck last night and am having it shipped next week. If it turns out to be a hunk of rust, especially the frame, I may part it out. Though, I hope its not tooooooo bad, because I really would like to get her back on the road.

The cruiser has been well maintained and cared for, so that is always a good sign. Being from Michigan kinda scares me, the rust-belt and all...

So we will see!!! Might be a 'barn find' or might be a rust bucket...

Cool!

I hope its turn out to be one of those once in a lifetime barn finds so I can kick myself for not even trying to buy it. :bang:

Make sure to post a bunch of pics for us to drool over!
Also, ask the PO for any old photos they may have of the truck.

Congrats!

Hopefully that your bid on E-Bay.

Good Luck:

I bought both of my FJ-45LB sight unseen. Needless to say, I was extremely pleased when Kiwi Karriers showed up to my house. Good luck with the purchase, it's worked out very well for me.

If you don't like it, I'll buy it from you for what you paid plus your shipping. ;)

Update

Well, we had a little problem getting the cruiser ready for loading. It had been stored on dollies, and the wheels hadn't turned in about 3 years. So, the drums where seized. :frown:

The seller is going to work on freeing the drums. I had a shipper arranged to pick it up yesterday, but had to postpone.

Seller sent me a bunch of pics, but they are small, or I would post some here.

Here's a pic. What's missing in the pic? Wonder what else is missing?
