I finally gutted my cheapy ebay mirrors, no big thang, popped out the glass, they have a male/female ball joint that needs triming as when it tries to rotate where it needs to be, it hits the back of the glass, gave it a quick trim with the die grinder and urethaned the glass back in as the plastic retaining lip was cut with a knife, I can see who I'm cutting off now!!!

Wish I would have thought of that - mine barely have enough travel to adjust adequately. Did you get them to quit vibrating?
If the glass is wavy, you can get Burco replacement blanks from an auto glass shop that were made for the 62 - need to grind 'em down, though. These repros didn't even repro the glass size.

i cranked the spring really tight before putting the glass in, helped the shaking abit
