Hello. My name is TJ. I am a long time lurker, first time poster. I am a long-time car guy, but have only been into 4WD Toyotas for a short time.
My previous car was a 2006 4Runner with the basic off-road bolt-ons (OME lift, ARB bumper, Warn Winch, etc...). Here is a pic of the 4Runner for posterity's sake:
I recently sold it and purchased a low mileage 2006 LX470 (I dont have any pics, but you know what a bone stock LX looks like). It is a one owner car with a full set of service records from the local Lexus dealership. I know the previous owners and it has been very well cared for (they sold it to me to buy a brand new LX--their third one in a row).
I probably wont go as crazy with the LX as I did with the 4Runner. I hurt the drivability of the Runner with the lift/tires. I really love how plush the Lexus is on-road. I will probably do some bumpers and a winch on the LX and call it a day (famous last words, I know).
I look forward to learning from the members here and contributing where I can.
