First I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I can't stress how important our club meetings are. The January meeting will be the first meeting of our anniversary year and I really want a good turnout.
Were in need of some fresh ideas to keep this club the best 4x4 club around so please plan on making it and pass the word, let's get off on a good start this year. Theirs allot of new members and I'd like to meet and hear from them.
Remember: The Club's only as good as the members make it.

Thanks Tim- PMC President

I am gonna move your addy to the front of list and see if that solves.
Be there thursday at 7 at Marlow rd. in Santa Rosa.
Got my sat phone. it is the 9500 but came with 2 4000 whatever batteries, pelican case, cellular cassete, and misc other s***. I would like to know who you use for service and if you have contact info. That way I know beyond doubt that the service works where I intent to possibly use phone.

No John I (and others) haven't received anything. Were going to talk about some of the problems with the newsletter at Thursday's meeting.

Only for those with a BEER in their hand, the rest of us understood exactly what was up.

But really it got me alittle too, especially when just this week I ran into and met little Mrs. Kitahara (Pauls wife) while grabbing lunch one day at Carr's, that was strangely cool.

Land Use Items

Off-Highway Vehicle Route Designation

Route Designation will be going on for the next 2 plus years. The entire process may sound over whelming, but not participating or not paying attention to it could allow the forest service to close your favorite trail. Route designation affects not only the trails you 4 wheel and hunt on but the trails you take to get to your favorite camping or hunting spot, marked or unmarked.

Some areas are getting a lot of attention, like the Rubicon Trail. That does not mean you shouldn’t review the maps for the Rubicon Trail or other area’s. You should review the maps that are being produced, as part of Route Designation, to make sure trails that you use or have used are listed. The more eyes on the maps the better. Trail maps are available at the Forest Service Offices or easier on the web at the forest service offices under Route Designation. Links to the web sites are on the WWW.IH8MUD.com Pacific Mountain Cruisers Forum under Land Use. If you find a trail missing contact the forest service office for that area. Note that environmental groups and the Forest Service will be using this opportunity to close trails.

Thanks Tim.

Directions for those not familiar with Area. From Peesalot

If you are going North on 101 thru Santa Rosa you want to take the Guernville Rd./ Steele Lane exit. ( same for south ) . Go west on Guernville Rd./ Steele Lane .( same road just changes names at that particular intersection).

After about 1 mile you will come to Marlow Rd. intersection( see Safeway shopping center kitty corner from you). You want to turn left , then immediately right into Safeway parking lot. Round Table is the first store on your left as you enter parking lot.

There is an autozone across the street in case some of our less mechanical friends bring their trusty steeds.
