First HJ47 project

Hey guys, never done a ute up before. Pretty much learning as I go but got a few mates that are helping me.
So I've got a HJ47 83 model. Currently got the 2h in it and am wanting to put a 1hd fte in it. Just wondering what engine mounts, gearbox and transfer case works best for this kind of set up and anything else I'll need to change/suss out? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Can ad a few pictures a bit later

right, got any pics?

you will need to mess around with the engine and gear box mounts for a 1HDT into a 47. i have a 45 with a 12HT and i had to fab up new mounts, but only bc i coulnd tfind period correct 2H mounts. the 1HDT is another story though and you will need to make up new ones.

the diesel section (where i spend the other half of my time) has some great threads on diesel swaps. for engine stuff i go there, for body stuff here to the 40 section of the forum
