I've had the 4runner for a little over a year now and just recently got my lift and tires done, went with the icon stage 1 kit, got it through metal tech, and as with every other order I've placed with them it arrived at my door with no problems. For wheels and tires I went with the Goodyear Wrangler MTR in the 285/70 R17 variety, and to compliment them Method's Double Standard wheel. Heres a pic of it after I fineshed the lift and then with wheels and tires mounted up.

Just had to iPhone it haha

Ok so any ways I then wanted more, and began kicking around the idea of a front bumper, and this is what i came up with. All tubing is 1 and 3/4 .120 wall HREW.

I had HID's in my previous fog lights and wanted to keep the bulbs somehow, turns out that the next change toyota made to the 4ruuners was to put a circular fog light in the bumper, luckily these fog lights used the same bulb as the style that came on my bumper so i sourced a pair of the new style Toyota fog light and they were as easy as plugging them into the where the old ones came out!!
love it when a plan comes Together!!

For the center I used a piece of 1/8" flat aluminum, that would be held into place using button head allen bolts just for looks.

I also used a little bondo on the front sides where the sheet metal is just to fill in the seems so i didnt get rust coming through after i rattle can it ;)

For turn signals i used an amber 6" led light strip, worked really well and it gives it a kind of stealth look because you can barely see them when they aren't on.

All in all i really like the way it turned out, nice and simple and light.

Well done, sir. That makes a 4th gen look a lot less soccer mommish.

thanks guys

Awesome bumper, I'm looking to do something similar but I'm on a bit of a budget. How much would you say you spent on materials? Also where can I order some of those blue LEDs you have in your grille?
