Took the pillow block body apart to replace the NSK bearing in there. The local Autozone has Timken bearings. I think the NSK bearing in there, 6205DU, is the same as the Timken 205F. I've been looking online to try to confirm it but have struck out. Anyone have a website that gives equivalent bearings between NSK & Timken?

pillow block? where?... the 6205 rings a bell with me but, I think its a mower deck bearing on my Troy Bilt Rider.......

205ss thats it! mower deck bearing.......1" pilot bore, 2.00" bearing O.D. ;) so the question remains on the pillow block :hmm:

6205 is a standard bearing, used in thousands of applications. NSK, SKF, FAG, INA, Timken, etc all make it.

No s***!..... also pilot bearings for Cat, Cummins, Detroit, IH, JD and a few others....;) so what about the pillow block mystery

Sorry for being obtuse. It's the pillow block that is part of the PTO drive train.
Is SKF a "good" bearing? Equivalent to what was in there, the NSK?
Thanks.
