Finally removed the rear mudflaps today....

So here is what she looks like without the rear flaps:

Now after I removed the flaps, here is what it looked like behind the flaps.....

Drivers Side:

So I looked inside there and it is empty. Nothing is in there. So I looked at removing those bottom panels. Here is what they look like underneath:

The problem with removing them is that behind them, up high, are some what looks like electrical box things that I don't want to expose to the elements.

So what I think I may do, is use some shears and cut the bottom part of the panel underneath.

This would stop if from getting caught on anything, but still leave the side part to protect anything that is underneath.

All this is for nothing once I get a new rear bumper. ;)

Thoughts?
